Job description

The Segment Marketing Manager position is a mid-level position that actively develops and drives specific segment(s) plans with oversight from Senior Segment Marketing Manager. This person partners collaboratively and cross-functionally with Marketing and Communications teams and other departments to fulfill plan deliverables across channels on time and on budget. The Segment Marketing Manager develops a deep understanding of segment behaviors, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to proactively provide education and strategic consultation to stakeholders and collaborative partners. This person also understands how line-of-business services, products, solutions, and theimplementation and customer experience/care model meet the segment's needs. This role can be located in Kansas City, MO or Milwaukee, WI.

How you will spend your time:

Development of marketing strategies and tactics that help the line of business meet their objectives.
Educate internal Marketing and Communications team and cross-functional partners on audience behaviors that will drive impactful channel and tactic execution
Project management of marketing plan deliverables across channels with cross-team members
Identify strategic opportunities to increase market value to the business, with measurable KPIs.
Guide execution of strategies and marketing campaigns through the Marketing Operations and External Communication/Content teams, and/or external vendor ecosystem to meet strategic objectives.

Complete informative creative briefs including goals/objectives, audience detail, key messages, wire frames, outlines, content recommendations, etc.
Work with cross-functional teams as appropriate, to assist with planning & development of new and evolved products, platforms, and delivery channels.
Ensure KPIs are set, tracked, analyzed and measured for marketing initiatives Utilize results to provide insights and meaning to evolve and refine marketing strategy and recommendations.
Assist with budget development and manage marketing activities within budgets.
Provides appropriate marketing consultation for segment needs at the market leadership level
Interacts consultatively with key leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • 8 -10 years of progressively more responsible positions in marketing; Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background

  • Financial Services background desired

  • Salesforce experience desired

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Project management experience

  • Demonstrated strategic planning experience

  • Experience with leveraging KPIs for strategic decision-making and guidance

  • Ability to track and analyze competitive activities

  • Understand segmentation and experience using segmentation in marketing planning

  • Experience with a variety of marketing distribution channels (multi-channel marketing)

  • Experience working in a matrix environment, and/or leading initiatives through cross-functional project teams

  • Demonstrate editing, written and verbal skills

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills/successful prioritization (ability to multitask)


Compensation Ranges:

US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:

$83,810 - $131,550

US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:

$76,520 - $120,210

US Employees in all other states not listed above:

$69,230 - $109,120
