The Segment Manager, Strategic New Accounts, is responsible for working directly with customers and sales, and partners closely with product management to identify and launch new products and drive sustainable, profitable growth.

New Product Development Champion
  • Work directly with strategic accounts to identify, concept, scope and initiate new product opportunities.
  • Gather and document voice of customer, operations and environmental observations, needs and challenges to enable successful new product opportunities with strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with product management and customers to define product requirements, influence concept development, support field tests and commercialization.
  • Govern, review, initiate, monitor, and ensure delivery of basic development tasks in close partnership with engineering; track and measure post launch.
Product Quality & Issue Resolution
  • Investigate and resolve customer-reported product issues related to quality, reliability, functionality, installation, and application.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with internal stakeholders and communicate resolutions with customers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Growth
  • Partner with Sales, Inside Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to support growth initiatives, strategic account plans, and product lifecycle management.
  • Represent the company at customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and other business development activities as required.
Account Management Support
  • Lead customer engagement activities, including meetings, project reviews, and alignment of development priorities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Franke products, providing technical and application support to customers and sales teams.
  • Field and proactively solve specific customer requests related to Franke products.
RequirementsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering or ID
  • 5 years of product development/design experience;
  • 2 years business development or account management experience; Sales engineering experience preferred;
  • Experience of working in global environment
  • Readiness to business travel within North America (up to 40%)
