Job description

Title Digital Accessibility Specialist (508/WCAG) Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description RiVidium is seeking a Digital Accessibility Specialist (508/WCAG) to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports Outreach & Engagement Services and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Supports assigned PWS task area; provides subject matter expertise, operational execution, and measurable performance reporting aligned to task objectives.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities * Assess digital products and content for compliance with Section 508 and WCAG expectations. * Identify accessibility gaps and provide practical remediation guidance to delivery teams.

* Support accessibility testing, documentation, and continuous compliance monitoring. * Coordinate with designers, developers, writers, and program teams to improve accessible delivery.Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience. * Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Mid-Senior (8-12 yrs).

* Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role and work with sensitive but unclassified information. * Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment. * Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality digital, visual, written, or user-experience deliverables relevant to the role.Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated knowledge of Section 508, WCAG, and digital accessibility testing approaches.

* Experience reviewing websites, applications, multimedia, and documents for accessibility compliance. * Ability to translate accessibility findings into practical remediation guidance for delivery teams.Work Setting This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on-site support as required by the customer.
