Job description

Cardiovascular Scheduling Coordinator

Location: Golden, CO

Schedule: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Scheduling Coordinator to support procedural scheduling operations for our cardiovascular team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient procedures, managing provider schedules, and ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and clinical staff.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working across multiple systems, and is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule cardiovascular procedures and appointments, including:
    • New and established patient procedures
    • CV lab testing appointments
    • Catheterization lab procedures
  • Manage and maintain schedules using Excel and Outlook calendars
  • Confirm all upcoming procedure appointments with patients
  • Communicate effectively with catheterization lab physicians and clinical staff to align schedules and ensure efficiency
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information accurately
  • Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding procedures when needed
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer service in all interactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of care

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 6 months of professional experience or internship experience (healthcare or administrative environments preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, including calendar management
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (daily use, filtering, sorting, working across multiple tabs)
  • Excellent typing skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes in a structured environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in scheduling or patient coordination

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
