Overview
The Supervisor, Surgery Scheduling position will provide clinical and/or administrative support for surgical scheduling, billing, and the operating room computer system. Coordinate the daily processes for billing in assigned areas. Assume responsibility, accountability, provides leadership for daily operations, coordination of work quality and service, and team member supervision in assigned area. Provide advanced computer systems support to leaders, staff and other personnel. Responsible for security management, training of staff, and troubleshooting of computerized system. This Position will have at least 1 direct report with potential for more as service line grows.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is Required

Certification/Licensure
  • No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience
  • Proficiency in EPIC, Excel and data handling preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Medical terminology preferred
  • Surgery Scheduling Experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Leadership skills preferred (including educating and mentorship)
  • OR utilization experience preferred
  • Strong Professional relationship building experience preferred
