The Sample Assistant/ Material Handler will be responsible for managing the regional sample fulfillment and provides technical support as required. Responsible for routine warehouse product organization and material handling regarding sample shipping, sample receiving and sample packaging duties. Unload finished goods from containers and pick orders while maintaining an organized yard and warehouse. As well as supports the warehouse areas by shipping/receiving products, loading and unloading product. Assists in other areas of the warehouse and division as needed.

Key Responsibilities

· Manages sample order fulfilment with limited supervision

· Schedules and conducts technical knowledge meetings/certifications with limited supervision.

· Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures.

· Receive daily orders pick list, pull order and package samples for delivery.

· Unload/load containers in a timely and safe manner.

· Assist with warehouse duties as needed.

· Receive daily orders pick list, pull order and load quartz slabs on truck for delivery.

· Unload/load containers in a timely and safe manner.

· Operate forklift as needed.

· Assist customers in a friendly manner.

· Maintain and organize warehouse/yard.

· Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures.

· Assist with product order filling as needed.

· Follow all safety rules.

Requirements:

Qualifications

· Must have a high school diploma or GED.

· Must have a clear driving record.

· 1-2 years similar warehouse experience.

· Technical training or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years of relevant work experience).

· Excellent multi-tasking, organization and documentation skills.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Basic computer skills.

· Demonstrated competency in the use of hand tools and other industry related equipment.

· Demonstrated ability to read drawings and work to written procedures.

· Must be able to operate a forklift. Forklift certification preferred.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Working Conditions

Projected hiring salary range is between $16- $21hour
