Job Purpose

As a Salesforce B2B Commerce Architect, you will lead high-performance project teams in building enterprise-level commerce solutions for global brands. You will act as a strategic advisor, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and native Salesforce capabilities to deliver seamless digital experiences. Your leadership will ensure project success through expert solution design, collaborative delivery, and a deep focus on driving measurable business value across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the quality of B2B delivery, ensuring all projects align with core strategic objectives and established Salesforce best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance on implementation approaches, covering the full lifecycle of requirements gathering, system integration, payment processing, fulfillment, and order lifecycle management.
  • Establish and enforce technical quality standards through architecture reviews, design governance, and implementation oversight to ensure scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions. 
  • Coordinate with delivery teams and clients to ensure seamless execution from initial discovery through post-launch support.
  • Develop and execute transformative strategies designed to optimize the B2B customer experience and drive meaningful revenue growth for clients.
  • Identify opportunities to increase organizational efficiencies and reduce operational costs through advanced platform enablement.
  • Act as a visionary leader to build and expand the firm's internal B2B capabilities, staying ahead of market trends and client needs.
  • Maintain deep, up-to-date expertise in the evolving capabilities of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud.
  • Leverage comprehensive product knowledge to recommend innovative solutions that maximize customer outcomes and platform ROI.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on B2B Commerce APIs, data modeling, and architectural best practices.
  • Partner with Salesforce and other strategic alliances to stay informed on product roadmaps and emerging features, translating them into actionable client strategies.
  • Lead pre-sales solutioning activities, including discovery, defining scope, solution  approach, scope, estimation, technical assumptions, and create content for proposal responses.
  • Develop a point of view on modern B2B commerce architectures, customer engagement models, and adjacent Salesforce platform capabilities 
Qualifications and Skills
  • 7+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 3 years serving as an architect subject matter expert on Salesforce implementations.
  • 3+ years experience working with Salesforce B2B Commerce on Lightning
  • Proven track record leading Salesforce teams and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce B2B Commerce data model, including catalog management, buyer groups, and checkout.
  • Strong ability to lead geographically distributed teams and manage integrations with ERP, OMS, or payment systems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading pre-sales solutioning for commerce initiatives, including discovery, architecture definition, estimation, technical assumptions, and proposal content
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Experience interviewing, onboarding, and mentoring engineering team members
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams across time zones and regions
