Job Description

The Salesforce Developer is a key member of the CRM Team and is responsible for the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements from various business contexts. Using outside-the-box thinking and Salesforce.com (SFDC) knowledge, the Developer is responsible for managing all aspects of SFDC including configuration, customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. Successful candidates will be comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members to build creative solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

  • Demonstrate functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements;
  • With minimal guidance, design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on the industry best practices as well as business needs;
  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application;
  • Deliver solutions and support for break-fix issues;
  • Handle numerous projects/priorities using sound development practices and organizational skills to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions;
  • Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability;
  • Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document;
  • Create system documentation/play books and participate as a reviewer and contributor in requirements, design and code reviews;
  • Research and keep current on force.com technologies and maintain current Salesforce certifications.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
  • 2-3 years of industry experience as a salesforce.com developer

Certificates and Licenses: None required, but SFDC Admin and DEV Certifications is a plus.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced experience with Salesforce configuration and custom development; act as a go-to person for the Saleforce platform
  • Experience with SF Billing/CPQ plus preferred
  • Experience in designing and developing software components in a web-based systems architecture and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background
  • Experience with the salesforce development toolkit including Apex, Test classes, Triggers, Visualforce, html, css, jquery, SOQL/SOSL, Force.com IDE and migration tool.
  • Ability to support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, validations, custom permissions, approvals etc.
  • Experience with the AppExchange tools is desired.
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools.
  • Experience with SOAP/REST API development.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; experience presenting to all levels of management
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs; be able to lead or facilitate sessions to define and document business requirements
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently, and can produce high quality technical documentation and analysis.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to clear required background check

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $66,379.50- $130,000.00. An individual's compensation can vary based on several factors which include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
