ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Salesforce Developer to joinouragile team building innovative solutions for our patients and providers. This role focuses primarily on Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Sales Cloud, and will design and develop technical solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC),andPlatform Events.

You will participate in implementation and ongoing enhancement as our Salesforce strategy evolves, collaborating closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

COMPENSATION: $99,000 - $121,000/annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure scope and requirements are properly defined and translated into technical designs

  • Design and build scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on maintainability, performance, and security

  • Develop and maintain:

  • Apex (classes, triggers, async patterns such as Queueable/Future/Batch, integrations, error handling)

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC) (component architecture, client/server patterns, performance best practices)

  • Platform Events and event-driven patterns (publish/subscribe, orchestration, resiliency, monitoring)

  • Partner with QA, Product Owners, and Designers to deliver well-tested, user-friendly experiences (including Experience Cloud journeys)

  • Implement robust automated testing and quality practices:

  • Apex unit tests and test data patterns

  • Meaningful coverage that validates business behavior, not just lines

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and iterative delivery; actively engage in regular code reviews

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across production and sandbox environments; perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixes

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards as needed to support operational visibility and outcomes

  • Champion best practices, coding standards, documentation, and reusable patterns across the team

  • Readily share knowledge across the team; mentor others on platform development patterns and maintain a high bar for engineering excellence

  • Must be data driven, objective, and goal oriented

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 3+ years of experience building on the Salesforce Platform in adevelopercapacity

  • Strong hands-on experience withApex(classes, triggers, governor limits, async processing, integrations)

  • Strong hands-on experience withLWC(component patterns, Apex integration, state management basics, performance considerations)

  • Experience implementingevent-drivensolutions usingPlatform Events(and/or comparable pub/sub patterns on Salesforce)

  • Experience working in an Agile environment following SDLC

  • Experience usingGitHubas a version control system and participating in code reviews

  • Must comply withHIPAArules and regulations

  • Ability to collaborate across stacks and blended teams; communicates clearly and effectively

  • Strong sense of ownership; self-driven with ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be data driven, objective, and goal oriented

Preferred

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1)

  • Experience in a Healthcare setting

  • Experience with MuleSoft

  • Experience withGearset(or equivalent Salesforce DevOps tooling)

  • Experience with Experience Cloud development patterns (authenticated experiences, sharing/security considerations, performance)

  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP, Named Credentials, External Services, middleware)
