About the Team
Our sales and success teams are the heart and soul of DoorDash, helping us partner with top merchants (think restaurants, grocers, convenience stores, retailers) across the country to grow their revenue and help them operate even better. As DoorDash grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our sales engine and organizational structure must grow with it.
We are looking for an Associate Manager level in Sales Strategy and Operations to support SMB Rx Success Account Management. This role will ensure we are 1. making efficient, data-driven decisions, 2. optimizing SMB Account Management operational processes, 3. leveraging and advocating AI tooling, and 4. centralizing key metrics. You'll work among our sales, partner management, operations, product, and analytics teams to build the merchant foundation.

  • As an Associate Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations at DoorDash, you will play a key role in partnering with our post sales SMB team to accelerate growth for SMB restaurants. You will focus on increasing sales productivity and refining operational processes. You will help create structured processes that influence centralized sales metrics and will work across cross-functional teams to scale our restaurant partners' businesses through sales and operational initiatives.

  • Contribute to post-sales strategy for our top company priorities. This team sits at the nexus of both scaled initiatives and innovative bets at DoorDash focused on catapulting our restaurant partners' growth.
  • Drive operational excellence in reporting cadences, rigorous pipeline tracking, and sales productivity - leading end-to-end ideation to execution through data-driven insights.
  • Partner with our cross-functional teams to expand and elevate our offering. To retain, optimize, and grow SMBs, this role will partner closely with internal DoorDash stakeholders to ensure our GTM processes across products and initiatives is effective and efficient for sales teams.
  • Look around corners for the team. This role will be an owner in shepherding our Account Management team into the future, specifically as we use AI tooling to become more efficient.

  • You have 5+ years of experience in operations, technology, banking, analytics or related experience with a track record of leading initiatives and hitting goals
  • You have strong cross functional business experience, project management, and communication skills
  • You are comfortable working with large data sets + modeling in Excel / Google Sheets, proficiency in SQL, and well-versed in data visualization tools (e.g. Sigma, Tableau) to help solve ambiguous problems

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or higher

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
