Description
Position Summary:
The residential support specialist is responsible for appropriate supervision and day-to-day functions of our residential supportive services. The residential support specialist works closely with the program manager to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Provide appropriate supervision of residential clients, including supervision of work assignments, meal preparation, and recreational activities
-Responsible for completing room inspections for compliance checks
-Enforce program rules in a fair and constant manner
-Properly document activities on clients and maintain other records as directed
-Document and assist clients with medications to ensure proper usage
-Transport program participants to NA/AA meetings, store runs, and other recreational activities
-Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing coordinator
Requirements
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree required for Full time positions
-High School Diploma or G.E.D. for Part time positions
-Must be able to become MAC certified
-Valid driver license and good driving record, required
Travel Requirements:
-If travel is required, must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation.
-Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
-Personable and Ability to work with internal and external customers
-Ability to maintain harmonious effective working relationships with other employees
