Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Manager to lead the daily operations of a residential behavioral health program serving women with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise, staff leadership, and program management while helping create a safe, supportive environment where women can build the skills and stability needed for recovery.

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the residential program, including supervising and supporting staff, implementing organizational and administrative directives, and ensuring quality services are provided to residents. This position also provides direct clinical services, serves as a resource and consultant to staff, and provides coverage for open shifts when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the residential program.
  • Supervise, coach, and support program staff to promote effective teamwork and quality resident care.
  • Provide direct clinical services to women with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused residential environment.
  • Implement organizational policies, procedures, and administrative directives.
  • Provide coverage for open shifts when necessary to ensure continuity of care.
  • Serve as a 24-hour resource and consultant to staff regarding clinical and program-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal and community partners to support residents' treatment and recovery goals.
  • Promote awareness of the program and build positive relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and LSW/LPC required; LISW/LPCC preferred.
  • Experience with SPMI and/or SUD population required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources and healthcare services.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
