Residential Program Manager

As a Residential Program Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing program operations, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for women in residential treatment. This position offers the opportunity to guide a dedicated team, collaborate with community partners, and help clients build a path toward long-term stability and recovery.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the CEO and Director of Women’s Residential Treatment to develop and implement agency policies, practices, and procedures.
- Participate on the Administrative Team and contribute to agency-wide initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Program Oversight & Excellence
- Oversee case management and treatment planning to ensure alignment with professional standards and funding requirements.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate internal programming to meet client needs, including criminogenic and recovery-focused services.
- Facilitate and coordinate staff meetings, treatment team meetings, and program-related committees.
- Maintain up-to-date program documentation, forms, and compliance with DHS 75 and DHS 83 standards.
Client Care & Advocacy
- Participate in the intake and assessment process in accordance with Department of Corrections guidelines.
- Coordinate services and referrals to meet client needs, including collaboration with community resources.
- Represent ARC in treatment planning meetings and act as a liaison with DOC agents, courts, and other stakeholders.
- Support crisis intervention efforts and assist in managing complex client situations.
Supervision & Team Development
- Supervise multidisciplinary staff, including Social Workers, Substance Abuse Counselors, Case Managers, and Residential Staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff and interns.
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage and maintain staff schedules.
Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Represent ARC Community Services in the community, promoting program awareness and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate inter-agency collaboration and community-based services for clients.
Facility & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing requirements.
- Manage building maintenance, food service coordination, and supply budgeting.
- Ensure the physical safety and well-being of all residents and staff.
What You Will Bring:
- At least three years of experience in women’s residential services, substance use treatment, or a related field.
- Experience working with justice-involved populations in a treatment setting.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- An MSW or advanced degree in a related field preferred; a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
