This role offers a remote working environment, providing flexibility and the opportunity to reach students from various locations. Although remote, you will be actively engaged with school staff and students, conducting virtual counseling sessions, collaborating on cases, and participating in team meetings. You will utilize telehealth platforms to maintain client engagement, ensuring that all interactions are safe, secure, and supportive.

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' needs by interviewing them and evaluating their current conditions, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized support plans aimed at helping clients navigate their emotional and social challenges.
• Monitor clients’ progress through regular check-ins and evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide informed counseling during sessions, equipping students with practical strategies and coping mechanisms.
• Maintain meticulous records of sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Attend case conferences, presenting client updates and participating in interdisciplinary discussions to optimize care strategies.
• Act as a key worker, establishing trusting relationships with clients and collaborating with teachers, school staff, and community services.
• Facilitate referrals to external community services and resources that can aid in the recovery and support of clients.

In this role, you will primarily work with students facing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. Your clients may experience issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or difficulties related to family dynamics. Your expertise will be vital in helping them build resilience, improve their social skills, and achieve personal growth through tailored interventions.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• Proven experience working as a social worker, particularly in educational or community settings.
• Solid understanding of social work theories and methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• A track record of establishing and maintaining professional helping relationships with clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an empathetic approach to client care.
• Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic or educational setting.
• Familiarity with the unique challenges faced by students in a school environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes to support client recovery.
