Kick-start Your Career in International Tax!

As a Working Student in Tax at AMBOSS, you'll gain hands-on experience in an international environment while supporting core tax processes and projects. You won't just assist – you'll take ownership of tasks, contribute ideas, and learn how international tax really works in practice.

  • Ownership even as a student: Take responsibility for your own projects and drive them independently.
  • Supportive team culture: Work closely with colleagues who are eager to share knowledge and help you grow.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support monthly tax filing preparation and follow up on tax payments
  • Assist with reconciliation and data quality management across our systems (Shops, Data Warehouse, Accounting, Tax Engine)

  • Support international tax registration projects
  • Assist with yearly transfer pricing processes and external tax reportings
  • Take ownership of projects in these areas and drive them independently

What You Bring

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Economics, or a related field with a focus on taxation
  • At least one more year of enrollment ahead of you and the intention to stay in the role for a minimum of 12 months
  • First work experience in finance or accounting, ideally with exposure to tax, is a plus
  • High interest in tax-related topics and ambition to deepen your expertise
  • Solid skills in spreadsheets and an interest in developing them further
  • Interest in working with accounting systems and tax engines (e.g., Datev, ERP, Avalara)
  • Clear and confident communication style, able to explain findings in a simple, structured way
  • Self-organized and reliable working style, with a high level of ownership for your tasks and projects
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with the ability to contribute in a dynamic team environment
  • Fluency in German and English, written and spoken

What We Offer:
