• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of students, developing individualized treatment plans that are both effective and culturally sensitive.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to address a wide range of psychological concerns.
• Work in close collaboration with school staff, case managers, and psychiatrists to ensure coordinated and holistic support for students, facilitating a seamless exchange of information and strategies.
• Offer crisis intervention services to students facing acute distress or emergencies, utilizing your specialized training and empathetic approach to stabilize the situation effectively.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, educational workshops, and mental health advocacy projects to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.

The clientele primarily consists of students aged 5 to 18 from diverse backgrounds, including various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups. As a therapist within our organization, you will have the unique opportunity to work with children and adolescents, offering support tailored to the challenges they face in both academic and personal aspects of their lives. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships, you will help empower students to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master's degree or doctor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with students and families from various backgrounds.
• Exhibit cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively support individuals from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure accurate, timely documentation and adherence to treatment timelines.

• Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care techniques.
• Familiarity with school mental health programs and policies.
• Background in group therapy and family counseling.
