As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be entrusted with a variety of vital responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments for students, identifying their mental health needs, and developing individualized treatment plans using best practice methodologies.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), specifically designed for children and adolescents in a school environment.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in social work.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators, school psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance student outcomes.
• Providing psychoeducation to students and their families, equipping them with strategies and resources to manage mental health challenges effectively.
• Participating in regular training, case consultations, and clinical supervision sessions to continuously refine your skills and stay updated on current research and developments in the field.

Your primary focus will be on working with students of diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing a range of psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and adjustment disorders. You will play a critical role in helping these young individuals develop coping strategies, improve their emotional well-being, and succeed academically.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in social work theory and practice.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Arizona, reflecting your commitment to maintaining professional standards in social work.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents.
• Proficiency in solution-based therapeutic interventions, showcasing your ability to effectively support and guide clients toward achieving their goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.

• Experience working within a school or educational setting, understanding the unique challenges faced by students.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and strategies for handling emergency situations that may arise in a school environment.
• Experience with trauma-informed care approaches, enhancing your ability to connect with students who have experienced various forms of trauma.
