Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SLED Account Manager to expand ITMC's presence across Arizona, Texas, Florida, and other strategic remote markets. This is a high-impact sales role focused on developing new business opportunities and growing long-term relationships within State, Local Government, Education (SLED), Healthcare, and Public Sector organizations.
This is not a transactional telecom sales position. We are looking for a consultative sales professional with a proven track record of selling UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP, networking, cybersecurity, or managed technology solutions into complex organizations. The ideal candidate understands public sector procurement, RFP processes, cooperative purchasing contracts, and the importance of building trusted, long-term customer relationships.
Success in this role requires a strategic hunter who can identify opportunities, lead executive-level conversations, navigate complex sales cycles, and position ITMC as a trusted technology partner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on SLED, Healthcare, and Public Sector organizations.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Build trusted relationships with CIOs, IT Directors, Superintendents, municipal leaders, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution design, proposal development, contract negotiation, and close.
  • Conduct executive presentations, customer demonstrations, and business reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering, solution architects, project management, and leadership to develop customer solutions.
  • Navigate public sector procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, cooperative purchasing agreements, and contract vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM documentation.
  • Represent ITMC at industry conferences, customer events, and regional networking opportunities.
  • Develop long-term strategic accounts by identifying expansion opportunities and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

Qualifications
โ€ข 5+ years of telecom, UCaaS, or cloud communication sales experience
โ€ข Proven experience selling into State, Local Government, Education, or Healthcare
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to generate and close net-new business
โ€ข Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles
โ€ข Strong understanding of public sector buying processes
โ€ข Track record of meeting or exceeding quota
