American Communications Solutions and By Light Professional IT Services, together as Full Spectrum Operations (FSO) are hiring dedicated and talented IT professionals under the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract. EWOCS provides reliable high-quality communications and innovative IT solutions for the Guardians, Airmen, and Government agencies assigned to Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • The Client Systems Technician installs and repairs equipment; instructs customers in equipment operation; provides technical assistance; checks equipment for malfunctions.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
  • Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
  • Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
  • Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.
  • Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
  • Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components.
  • Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
  • Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
  • The Client Systems Technician travels frequently to customer sites and performs field technician service duties as assigned.
  • Provides CAC/PKI and RA/LRA functions related to the creation, revocation, suspension and issuance of SIPRNet Tokens and SIPRNet Administrative Tokens.
  • Works as part of the team to support the SLD 30 and CFSCC missions on a 24/7/365 basis..
  • Works final processing of DD Form 2875s for SIPRNet account requests and subsequent creation of SIPRNet user accounts.

Under general supervision the Customer Service Representative Associate shall:

  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices.
  • Work is checked since errors may cause delay or expense. May assist and train less experienced personnel.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • MUST have a CompTIA Security+, or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • High School plus advanced training, and 3 - 4 yrs. of experience.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

Special Requirements/Security Clearance:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally and walk short distances.
  • Use repetitive motion.
  • Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Ability to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
