Job description

Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team as a full-time mental health counselor. This remote position offers an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals grappling with substance abuse issues. With a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, this role is designed for professionals passionate about facilitating recovery and delivering high-quality mental health care.

About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is a recognized leader in substance abuse treatment, committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to those in need. Our outpatient center utilizes advanced technology and evidence-based practices to support patients on their recovery journey. Joining our organization means being part of a team dedicated to fostering a supportive and empowering environment where mental health professionals can thrive.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing mental health counselors to create a balanced work-life routine while serving clients from the comfort of their own homes. Our innovative digital systems streamline administrative tasks, reducing paperwork and enabling you to focus on what matters most: the well-being of your patients. Although remote, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team that values each member's input and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized psychotherapy to clients experiencing mental health issues related to substance abuse, using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to understand clientsโ€™ unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering lasting recovery.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions that address co-occurring disorders and employ solution-focused techniques to guide clients toward their goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant clinical documentation for all client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated care across various services and support systems.
  • Educate clients and their families on coping strategies, community resources, and the nature of substance abuse to empower informed decision-making.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advanced techniques in mental health treatment to improve the effectiveness of the care provided.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring that each client's treatment goals are met while balancing individual therapeutic schedules.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents who are confronting substance use disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and may present with a range of co-occurring mental health challenges. By leveraging your expertise as an LCSW, you will engage with this diverse population and contribute to their overall improvement and recovery process through targeted therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience addressing substance abuse issues.
  • Proficiency in solution-focused interventions and related therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaborative skills to work effectively within a treatment team.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years in the field is required, we encourage applicants with additional experience in substance use recovery, trauma-informed care, or who have worked with specialized populations to apply. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will give you an edge in agility and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary between $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, employees will receive malpractice coverage, participation in an employee assistance program for mental health support, and paid professional liability insurance. Our structure is designed to support your clinical practice while also allowing for a full caseload and maximum earning potential.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we value professional growth and development. The remote nature of this position allows for flexibility, enabling you to pursue further certifications and specialize within the field of substance abuse recovery. Our organization supports continuing education initiatives, and you'll have opportunities to advance within our team as we grow.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Gotham Enterprises Ltd means becoming part of a mission-driven organization that prioritizes patient care and employee satisfaction. As a member of our team, you will not only be instrumental in facilitating recovery but will also experience a fulfilling work-life balance through our flexible scheduling options. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace culture where every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference.
