Job Duties

This position is responsible for ensuring the fidelity of intensive reentry programs, residential substance use disorder programs and reentry services throughout correctional facilities in the central region. Ensures coordinated collaboration between correctional centers, community corrections and community stakeholders to support consistent delivery of effective, evidence-based reentry practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Professional experience in the field of adult Corrections with specialized training specific to the Reentry and Programs. Working knowledge of Therapeutic Community Programs and/or Cognitive Community Programs, cognitive restructuring skills and cognitive behavioral therapy. Demonstrated skill facilitation of trainings with both staff and the incarcerated population. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with all levels of staff, inmates, public, and other agencies and government branches. Basic Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Additional Considerations

Working experience with adults in community corrections setting, noting the transition process from incarceration through community supervision.
