Job description

Do you love to make a difference in the lives of people who experience developmental disabilities? Wall Residences is seeking a Developmental Disability Services Program Manager for the Fredericksburg, Virginia and surrounding areas.

Experience in Person-Centered Service Development with a Clinical background, as well as excellent teamwork and critical thinking skills desired. 

  • The ability to develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff as well as with individuals who receive services and their families
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize, along with excellent communication and time management skills in order to manage a caseload of Sponsored Residential and Hybrid Group Homes. 
  • Knowledge of Licensure/Medicaid requirements and best practices in compliance and ability to review and assess the quality of the service. 

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required. At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD) and two years’ experience supervising employees is preferred. 

Hybrid position with some flexibility. Internet access required and space for home office. Program Managers are provided with a computer, phone, all office supplies, company gas card, access to excellent training, and continuing education reimbursement. Program Managers are also provided with a company car for travel as needed within a regional area
