Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced On-Site Property Manager to oversee 23 units and perform daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and conflict resolution. This role requires a proactive approach to managing tenant relations, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and maintaining the overall quality of the property.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
  • Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively through strong negotiation skills.
  • Prepare and manage lease agreements and contracts while ensuring adherence to Section 8 requirements.
  • Implement sales strategies to promote property leasing and upsell services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions using CMMS systems.
  • Collaborate with facilities management to coordinate maintenance schedules and repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administration.
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations is essential.
  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants.
