Job description

Position Summary...The Manager, Revenue Cycle Management –Billing & Process Excellence is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and transforming the end-to-end billing and revenue processes. This role ensures operational excellence through process re-engineering, automation, and cross-functional alignment — driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability as the business grows. 
You’ll own the design and optimization of core billing processes, drive automation and governance, and ensure every new ad product and initiative are billing-ready from day one. This position requires a balance of operational depth, analytical insight, Project management skills and cross-functional leadership to enable scalable, accurate, and transparent revenue operations. 
An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

  • Lead end-to-end program management for billing-related initiatives, from requirements through execution and delivery  
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations)  
  • Track timelines, risks, dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 
  • Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams  
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable product and engineering inputs 
  • Drive stakeholder communication, alignment, and adoption of new processes 
AI & Automation Enablement 
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline billing workflows, reporting, and case management processes  
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to design and implement AI-driven solutions (e.g. anomaly detection, reporting automation)  
  • Drive adoption of AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across operations  
  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and recommend cases aligned with business needs 

Process Optimization & Automation 
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement automation initiatives to eliminate manual processes, reduce errors, and enhance operational efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver system improvements and integrations supporting billing accuracy and data continuity. 
  • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring billing errors or delays and define actionable solutions 
  • Translate operational pain points into technical requirements, test new tools, and measure automation ROI.  
  • Develop business requirements documentation (BRDs) for system enhancements and ensure successful deployment through UAT 

Reporting  
  • Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports that provide visibility into monthly KPIs such as billing accuracy, dispute trends, collections performance, and revenue variance. 
  • Deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions, process improvements, and resource prioritization. 
  • Monitor adherence to SLAs and operational KPIs across functional teams (Contract Management, Invoicing & Dispute Resolution, Collections). 

Billing enablement 
  • Own the end-to-end ad product setup process for billing, ensuring every new product is properly configured in systems to enable accurate invoicing 
  • Ensure smooth billing for all new initiatives or product launches, validating data flows, mapping, and invoicing readiness prior to go-live 
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for billing flows — supporting internal teams (Sales, Controllership, Product, Finance) with clarifications, documentation, and training on billing implications 

  What you'll bring...
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Project management. 
  • 5+ years' experience in Operations, Revenue Operations, Program management or Billing related roles. 
  • Retail media experience is a big plus 
  • Proven experience in Program management, system automation, data analysis, and Process improvement. 
  • Proven experience in system automation, Microsoft office, data analysis, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL). 
  • Experience with ERP or billing systems; strong data reconciliation and variance analysis skills. 
  • Strong ability to execute, measure results, and demonstrate progress in the face of ambiguity in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal to identify requirements in tools, dashboards, and access to data to maximize performance and efficiency. 
  • Ability to earn trust across Walmart Enterprise.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
