Job description

Join our team as the U.S. Pioneer agent commercial unit - Sales Excellence Manager and exercise your strengths in facilitating adult learning through designing, implementing, and measuring a broad range of sales learning programs. Your natural ability in relationship building will build collaboration cross-functionally with stakeholders in sales, marketing, agronomy, and human resources.

What You'll Do:
  • Support and implement sales learning initiatives and programs aligned with key area sales objectives. Training categories include customer prospecting, selling skills, buying behaviors, sales information, systems, and cross-selling.
  • Work directly with Sales Excellence Managers, Sales Managers, and Sales Effectiveness Managers to identify, assess, and prioritize learning needs
  • Identify appropriate targeted audiences and timelines for delivering learning
  • Implement the design and delivery of sales learning programs
  • Actively create content to deliver learning (both digitally and in-person)
  • Recruit at colleges and universities for our new hire (Associate Territory Managers, or ATMs) program and field sales interns
  • Support the new hire (Associate Territory Managers, or ATMs) training efforts. Work closely with leaders to identify sales training needs for these ATMs to ensure they have a strong start to their careers. In addition, you'll work with the sales leaders and HR team to support recruiting and selection processes for these employees
  • Implement assessment tools with Sales Managers to identify and prioritize sales competencies
  • Participate in the design, identification, and implementation of sales force assessment tools for critical sales competencies
  • Manage the determination of optimal methods for delivering learning through a variety of blended learning approaches (in-field training, computer-based learning, web-based training, conferences, seminars, instructor lead workshops, on-the-job, etc.).

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree (in ag, business, education, science, psychology or related) paired with eight or more years of experience in sales or sales organizational development. Equivalent amounts of relevant education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of these requirements.
  • Understanding of learning design and development, sales and marketing, adult education, research and assessment methodologies, and leadership skills development
  • Valid driver's license (you will travel approximately 25% of the time, which includes driving)
