The Manager of International Development will drive Wendy’s new restaurant development across the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region by partnering with franchisees to support the delivery of new restaurant opening targets and strengthen longterm market growth.

They will manage the complete development process by guiding market planning, site evaluation, and siteapproval submissions, while ensuring strong alignment with crossfunctional teams. This individual will be located in or around South Florida.

Responsibilities

Deliver Development Pipeline & ApprovalsResponsible for new site approvals, new store openings, and closure approvals through Wendy’s International CapCom process. Maintain a clear, organized pipeline, track milestones, and report progress regularly through Regional Team Meetings.

Support Franchisees Across Development ActivitiesPartner with franchisees through market visits, monthly calls, and business reviews to ensure adherence to Wendy’s Global Development Policies. Provide guidance to strengthen their capabilities in planning, site selection, and project management.

Lead Market Mapping & Strategic PlanningLead market mapping and identify Potential Trade Areas (PTA’s) for all markets to sustain long-term development. Collaborate with franchisees and the Development Director to build market plans and ensure pipeline alignment with Development Agreements.

Coordinate Cross Functional Development ExecutionWork closely with Construction, Design, and Operations to ensure proper restaurant planning through lease execution, design, construction, ops turnover, and opening, achieve AOP development targets.

Pay Range: $105,000.00 - $184,000.00 Annually

What we expect from you
  • Bachelors Degree in a field relevant to the position (Business, Real Estate, Finance).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate real estate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Fluent in both English / Spanish.
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proven ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, influence and coaching skills.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, GIS, Oracle and other database systems.
  • Regional business, real estate, or cultural experience in Latin America, including direct experience in South America.
  

Expected Work Location (Field): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at Wendy's Restaurants or to other field locations as designated by the Company. When not working at a Wendy's location, you are permitted to work remotely. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Remote

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. The target annual bonus for this role is 20% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
