Summary:

Are you curious about the world, interested in business, and eager to learn? The International Business Development Associate (IBDA) role is an entry-level position designed to develop future International Business Development Managers through hands-on experience, mentorship, and progressive responsibility. As an IBDA, you'll work directly with our international team and distributors around the world while learning how a global consumer products business grows brands, enters new markets, and builds customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the fundamentals of international sales, distribution, logistics, market development, and how LITTLE TREES conducts business around the world.
  • Support assigned markets in close partnership with International Business Development Managers (IBDMs) with the opportunity to develop expertise in specific regions.
  • Assist with quarterly business reviews, distributor communications, account planning activities, and market-specific projects.
  • Support distributor search and market development efforts, including identifying and evaluating potential partners in assigned markets.
  • Monitor industry trends, economic conditions, and market developments impacting international business, and report relevant insights to the team.
  • Manage inbound international business inquiries, including qualification, routing, and maintenance of requests.
  • Learn and master internal business intelligence tools to analyze sales performance, customer trends, product launches, and department-wide sales results.
  • Review and manage international distributor marketing approval requests in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of distributor social media and digital marketing activities to ensure brand consistency and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead special projects involving market research, business intelligence, distributor strategy, and international growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one year B2B sales experience required.
  • Fluency in English Required.
  • Willingness to travel internationally <10%
  • Plus one or more of the following:
    • Fluency in a foreign language
    • Study abroad program
    • Relevant coursework or projects related to international business, economics, or global affairs.

Salary: $56,740 - $59,740
