Talent Advisors (Recruiter or HR Analyst) to help us recruit and hire a talented, diverse workforce to meet the current and future needs of our growing and changing organization. We are looking for outstanding customer service oriented Talent Advisors who are committed to diversity and social justice, and who are excited to source and recruit for the best large transit agency in North America.
Talent Advisors focus on job opportunities in three functional areas: 1) Skilled Trades/Crafts 2) Planning/Technical, and 3) Leadership/Support/Administration

Talent Advisor (HR ANALYST) JOB DUTIES:

Applying equity and social justice principles is a daily responsibility and a foundational expectation for all employees. In this role, you will apply equity and social justice principles that exemplify shared values, behaviors, and practices to all aspects of the work.
As a Recruiter, you will:

Be a Talent Advisor - solving problems and influencing outcomes both with your customers and within talent acquisition.

Create legendary candidate experiences - and be known and recognized for it.

Be Innovative - in sourcing and assessment strategies for our organization.

Be Knowledgeable- in Federal, State, and County laws, policies and practices that affect Human Resources.

Be Agile- able to adjust to changes in needs from our customers and to find ways to fulfill those needs.

You will accomplish this by:

Managing and performing full-cycle recruitment processes for Trades, Professional and Technical, Executive Level, Support and hard to fill positions. Working collaboratively with leadership, hiring managers and other human resources staff.

Engaging with and sourcing applicants through on-line social media, community contacts, and networking events. Creating systems to build a pipeline of diverse, competitive talent.

Promoting Client as an Employer of Choice. Generate diverse applicant pools in support of Equity and Social Justice Goals.

Developing and administering merit-based selection materials including recruitment plans and timelines, job announcements, job-related tests and exams, interview questions, and related rating criteria. Client uses competency based recruiting methods and behavioral based interview questions.

Establishing priorities for managing your own work and stay on a focused, efficient path toward achieving results, while optimizing the recruitment processes by contributed innovative ideas and recommending efficiencies. We project manage each recruitment to drive results.

Establishing relationships with both hiring managers and candidates to be a trusted advisor delivering outstanding customer service throughout the hiring process.


EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:

We'd love to hear from people with:

High level of customer service to management and all levels of employees and external customers.

Familiarity with or experience in managing full-cycle recruitments.

Ability to project manage a recruitment plan to complete it on time, with outstanding customer service.

Experience in providing consultative advice to managers OR any combination of education and experience necessary to perform the scope of job duties.

Experience in Human Resources to include Federal, State, and local laws.

Demonstrated skill at working collaboratively, creating relationships, building trust and rapport with a diverse group of people and professionals of different levels.

Ability to build a genuinecollaborative and consultative style in their approach to their work.Build andunderstandthe importance of building effective relationships with customers, team members, hiring managers, and other staff.

Excellent interpersonal skills and is very politically savvy. Be comfortable providing advice and consultation to senior leaders and lead value-added discussions that challenge conventional norms and thinking.

Ability to stay organized, prioritizeandhandlemultiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Skilled and comfortable using an office productivity suite and the ability to use Outlook, application tracking, SharePoint, and other internet-based tools in their daily work (The client uses Microsoft Office and NeoGov)

We'd love it if you also had:

Experiencein understanding union contracts and how they affect HR processes

Experience in managing full-cycle recruitments in a unionized or government environment.

Experience with NEOGov applicant tracking software and PeopleSoft.
Location; Mostly remote (Downtown Seattle[-by Lumen Field)
Duration: up to 6 months
Work is mostly remote. Come in occasionally to the office over by Lumen Field.
Shift: Day -Monday through Friday
Pay: $38.78 per hour
Must be vaccinated
