Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director of e-commerce to lead and scale the 7 For All Mankind e-commerce business in the U.S. This leader will own the digital commerce strategy and execution across e-commerce operations, customer acquisition, retention, performance marketing, and site experience, with accountability for driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer engagement.
This role will serve as a key business leader responsible for shaping the future of the brand's digital ecosystem and customer journey. The Senior Director will build and lead a high-performing team, oversee external agency partners, and establish the operational and strategic roadmap required to scale the business.
The ideal candidate is both highly strategic and deeply hands-on, with a strong understanding of the evolving digital commerce landscape, omnichannel customer behavior, and luxury/premium consumer expectations. This individual will partner cross-functionally and globally with Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Retail, Technology, Operations, and Product Development teams to continuously elevate the customer experience and drive business performance.
Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the overall e-commerce business strategy for 7 For All Mankind U.S., with accountability for revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and digital performance.
  • Define and execute a multi-year digital commerce roadmap aligned to brand and business objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of site operations, including platform enhancements, sprint planning, testing, promotional execution, content strategy, releases, and ongoing optimization.
  • Drive a best-in-class customer experience across all digital touchpoints, optimizing the end-to-end customer journey and conversion funnel.
  • Partner closely with Technology and Development teams to prioritize and implement new capabilities, integrations, mobile initiatives, and ongoing site enhancements.
  • Lead performance marketing, CRM, and customer retention strategies in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Establish scalable processes, operational frameworks, and omnichannel initiatives that improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative customer insights, analytics, and testing strategies to continuously optimize site performance, engagement, and conversion.
  • Execute A/B testing strategies and continual campaign improvements that drive increased customer interest, conversion, and sales.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and Retail teams to align digital initiatives with broader brand and commercial strategies.
  • Provide regular executive-level reporting, business insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing e-commerce team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage external vendors and platform relationships while overseeing project prioritization, timelines, and execution.
  • Work closely with marketing/buying teams to develop promotions, SEO strategies, email campaigns, and performance marketing initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive e-commerce and digital leadership experience, preferably within fashion, retail, or consumer brands
  • Significant experience leading and scaling Shopify-based e-commerce businesses; Shopify Markets, Bloomreach, and Dynamic Yield experience strongly preferred
  • Global e-commerce and omnichannel retail experience highly desirable
  • Proven success leading digital growth strategies across e-commerce, CRM/email, customer retention, and performance marketing channels
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data and analytics into actionable business strategies
  • Deep understanding of customer journey optimization, digital merchandising, conversion strategy, and user experience best practices
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions and regions
  • Strong analytical, operational, and project management capabilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of web technologies including Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strategic thinker with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and innovation

This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our NYC office
PAY RATE: $180,000/yr-$200,000/yr
