About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced online retail environment. This role combines buying support, site merchandising, and product data management to ensure our online product assortment is accurate, visually engaging, and optimized for sales.

As an E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator, you will play a key role in how products are presented, discovered, and purchased by customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage product information, support launches, maintain data accuracy, and improve the overall online shopping experience.


This is a full-time, on-site position based in our office. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation for this role is $19.50 per hour.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and have the ability to manage, analyze, and maintain large sets of product data with accuracy and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Support buying and merchandising functions through vendor coordination, product setup, and item merchandising.
  • Collect and organize product assets including UPCs, descriptions, attributes, pricing, and images to ensure accurate product listings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate product launches.
  • Audit website content to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing details.
  • Analyze product and sales performance data to assist in buying and merchandising decisions.
  • Maintain product data integrity across internal systems (PIM/ERP) and update listings as needed.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, sorting, filtering, data manipulation, macros, and reporting to manage, verify, and analyze product data.
  • Monitor online merchandising to ensure a visually appealing, accurate, and engaging shopping experience.
  • Participate in merchandising projects designed to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

First 30 Days

  • Learn Shoebacca's merchandising processes, systems, and product workflows.
  • Become familiar with product catalogs, brand requirements, and online merchandising standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel while working with product data and reporting.
  • Build strong working relationships with Buying, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
  • Successfully complete product setup, updates, and website merchandising tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • PivotTables
    • Data manipulation
    • Macros
    • Reporting and analysis
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large amounts of product data accurately.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability and willingness to work full-time, on-site Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, E-Commerce, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Equivalent experience is considered.
  • 1+ years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, buying support, or retail operations.
  • Experience with PIM or ERP systems; Acumatica experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce SEO and website merchandising best practices.
  • Experience in footwear, apparel, fashion merchandising, or retail analytics.


Microsoft Excel is an essential function of this position.

Candidates must be comfortable working independently with advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data manipulation, macros, and reporting.

Excel proficiency will be evaluated during onboarding and on the first day of employment. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform these functions independently, as they are critical to success in this role.
