As our business scales, our digital storefront plays a critical role in education, conversion, and customer trust.

We are seeking a Director of E-Commerce to own and scale our DTC business end-to-end and lead the strategy behind our online revenue engine. The Role The Director of E-Commerce will be responsible for driving revenue growth, conversion, and customer lifetime value across all DTC channels. This leader will own the ecommerce P&L and act as the strategic hub connecting marketing, merchandising, technology, operations, and customer experience.

This role is ideal for a data-driven ecommerce leader with deep DTC experience in skincare, beauty, or health-adjacent brands—someone who understands how to balance clinical education with performance, conversion, and a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities Ecommerce Strategy & Revenue Growth Own and scale the DTC ecommerce business, including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and LTV Develop and execute ecommerce growth strategies aligned with overall brand and business objectives Forecast performance and manage the ecommerce P&L Site Experience & Conversion Optimization Own the Shopify (or equivalent) storefront, including homepage, PDPs, PLPs, checkout, and subscriptions Lead CRO initiatives informed by data, user behavior, and customer feedback Ensure the site experience clearly communicates clinical credibility, education, and trust Merchandising & Product Strategy Partner with Product and Marketing to support new product launches, regimens, bundles, and promotions Own onsite merchandising strategy, including product hierarchy, collections, and promotional placement Use performance data to guide assortment, pricing, and bundling decisions Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the connective leader across Growth, Creative, Product, Operations, and Customer Support Translate marketing initiatives into onsite execution that maximizes conversion and retention Lead and develop a high-performing ecommerce team and manage external partners and agencies Analytics & Performance Reporting Establish KPIs and dashboards to track performance across traffic, conversion, retention, and revenue Leverage analytics tools to uncover insights and optimization opportunities Present performance updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership Qualifications 7+ years of ecommerce experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role Proven success scaling DTC ecommerce for skincare, beauty, wellness, or health-adjacent brands Strong understanding of Shopify (or similar platforms), CRO, subscriptions, and onsite merchandising Deep analytical mindset with experience owning revenue targets, forecasts, and P&L Excellent cross-functional communication and leadership skills Nice to Have Experience with dermatologist-founded or clinically positioned brands Familiarity with compliance considerations in skincare or health-adjacent categories Experience with international ecommerce or omnichannel expansion Hands-on experience with A/B testing, personalization, and retention tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
