Title: Luxury Timepiece Digital Merchandising Manager
Position Type: Full time, salaried-exempt
Compensation range: $90,000-$120,000

Position Overview

Teddy Baldassare is looking for an experienced Luxury Timepiece Digital Merchandising Manager to join our growing eCommerce team. If you love watch collecting and have extensive knowledge working with Shopify, drop us a note and introduce yourself.
The ideal candidate is a watch enthusiast who's actively learning about new watch releases, tracks major watch events like Watches & Wonder, Dubai Watch Week, etc. Strong working knowledge in Shopify Plus is a must; comfortably upload, maintain and edit products or collections and willing to explore various solutions natively or via 3rd party apps.
This candidate can pay attention to details to ensure the entire product lifecycle from sourcing products to listing the products and work with other team members to market the products in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team.
Qualifications
  • Intimate knowledge around watches (mechanical, quartz, luxury, etc.)
  • Advanced user with Shopify eCommerce Platform (and 3rd party apps)
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Inventory planning and buying skills or vendor relations experience
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance
  • Strong writing skills, copywriting experience a plus
  • Basic website maintenance skills sets (Adobe Suite and photo editing skills) a plus
  • Strong computer and software skills (ie. G-Suite, web CMS, spreadsheets,, Analytics, etc.)
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once in a start-up environment
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal/written and both with internal and external team members

Responsibilities
  • Research for new merchandising opportunity and sourcing new products
  • Merchandising planning, buying and inventory forecast
  • Manage merchandising calendar to ensure timely product launches
  • Product uploads, editing/auditing, optimization via eCommerce platforms (Shopify)
  • Site merchandising and optimization to drive conversions
  • Leading and mentoring merchandising associates
  • Manage vendor relationships and ability to develop new brand partnerships
