Job description

NewGen Technologies has an opening for CORE Network Engineer to support our government customers' global enterprise networks. Network Architecture provides solutions for modernizing the network components while supporting service delivery for customer requirements in a mission-focused operational enterprise.Additionally, the candidate must have experience with hands-on router engineering and/or operation.
Active TS/SCI CI Poly REQUIRED
8570 Compliance REQUIRED
100% onsite in Chantilly, VA

The job duties of the CORE Network Engineer are as follows:
•Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture
•Developing MPLS WAN services solution
•Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing
•Assisting with the security accreditation process
•Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation.
•On as-needed basis, the engineer will also be responsible for supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing pro-active network analysis solution for the operations team.
Requirements
Required Clearance: TS/SCI CI
Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master's and 4 years, bachelor's and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years. Required qualifications include the following:
  • Must be compliant with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
