Please note: This role is a PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Technical Fluid role. PS CS experience is required. PS CS is used in colleges and universities therefore experience working in a college or university is required. There is an AI component but it is not a full AI consulting role.

Are you also interested in AI and have been actively prototyping with AI and other emerging technologies? Do you want an opportunity to explore innovative technology in more depth while leveraging your core Student Information Systems experience?

Our Higher Ed practice is looking for a motivated and experienced PeopleSoft Technical Fluid and AI Developer or PeopleSoft Technical Fluid and AI Lead with Campus Solutions experience. Implementation experience in the Higher Education field (such as at a college or university) is strongly desired and may be required. We are looking for someone who thrives on staying current with emerging technology and excels at pushing past boundaries and the status quo. This position is a full-time benefits-eligible position and is not a contractor role.

Sierra-Cedar helps Higher Education institutions - more than 350 of them - with the implementation of Oracle software.  Our business-savvy Technical Developers and Technical Leads are responsible for implementing PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud while increasing the benefit of the Oracle software in which the client has invested.

At Sierra-Cedar, a PeopleSoft Technical Fluid and AI Developer and PeopleSoft Technical Fluid and AI Lead have strong collaboration skills and use these skills to provide exceptional consulting services to clients, helping them gain the increased benefit from their PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system. You'll provide hands-on technical design and development support for integration, reporting, extensions, and customization activities within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Integration typically involves the PeopleSoft Integration Broker and the Application Services Framework, with a focus on REST integration development. You'll also design and develop extensions and customization using newer programming techniques within PeopleTools.

Our ideal PeopleSoft Technical Fluid and AI Lead has the skills of a technical developer but also includes extensive experience leading technical teams, interacting with and communicating effectively with functional teams, being detail-oriented, having a strong desire to stay up to date with new and emerging technology, and having a strong knowledge of products used by higher education institutions.

This position requires approximately 30% travel to client sites (nationwide) as well as remote work from your home office within the United States only - International locations will not be considered. This full-time role may include working occasional nights and weekends to support project milestones.
