Job description

Job Title

Processing customer payments and exceptions in a timely and accurate manner to customer accounts.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare customer payments for processing, ensuring accuracy and timely workflow.
  • Perform research and adjustment activities for payment exceptions.
  • Process exception items that require manual review or follow-up.
  • Coordinate setup and maintenance of remittance processing equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of remittance processing supplies.
  • Prepare outgoing collection notices as needed (non-negotiable items only).
  • Follow operational procedures to process client transactions and verify outputs.
  • Identify and escalate equipment or workflow issues to leadership.
  • Support special tasks or other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of remittance or item processing operations preferred.
  • Ability to recognize calculation or balancing errors.
