Job description

TEKsystems is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to support a highly regulated organization by helping interpret and analyze

regulatory and compliance requirements that impact business operations. This role will work closely with other compliance and regulatory professionals to

understand new laws, regulations, and industry guidance, assess potential impacts, and assist with formulating implementation plans across the

organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys research, analysis, problem-solving, and working with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and able to review lengthy documentation, policies, and regulatory materials.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review new laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry requirements that may impact the organization.
  • Research and analyze regulatory changes to identify potential impacts on business processes, policies, procedures, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing summaries and communications to help internal teams understand new compliance requirements.
  • Support other analysts in assessing regulatory risks, implementation plans, and compliance initiatives.
  • Partner with departments across the organization to gather information, understand current processes, and identify areas requiring change.
  • Help maintain regulatory tracking tools, documentation, project plans, and compliance records.
  • Assist with mapping regulatory requirements to business processes and identifying affected teams and stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings with business, operational, legal, compliance, and project teams to support regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience interpreting compliance material from various sources within highly regulatory environment (healthcare administration, financial services, insurance, state/federal government, etc.,).
  • Experience interpreting policies, procedures, regulations, or industry standards.
  • Familiarity with compliance documentation, regulatory reporting, or audit support activities.
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to review detailed information and identify key business impacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $41.00/hr.
