Job description

● Verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.

● Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.

● Manage Rain Forest Alliance and FairTrade transactions and compliance structure along with production, commercial, and accounting personnel.

● Monitor Organic programs traceability and monitor facility compliance.

● Assist in Kosher surveillance visits and certification responsibilities.

● Communicate compliance requirements for SMETA audits.

● Discuss emerging compliance issues with management or employees to implement and maintain GFSI standards.

● Participate in Sustainability Initiatives.

● Be able to speak to and assist in the maintenance of procedures to meet OSHA standards.

● Monitor compliance with DNREC environmental requirements.

● Communicate regulatory information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors as required.

● Monitor the shipping of finished goods for correct certification requirements.

● Assist in conducting investigations for customer complaints or internal CAPAs.

● Review of production records and release finished product based on regulatory and customer requirements.

● Analyze operational problems, identifies solutions, and implement corrective actions.

● Participate in continuous improvement and production meetings.

Assist Quality Manager with other duties as required
