Job Description:
The Recruiting Assistant supports the full cycle recruiting process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new employees. This role partners with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment activities, maintain a positive candidate experience, and ensure hiring processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities for multiple open positions.
- Source and screen qualified candidates through various recruiting channels.
- Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and support hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Assist with offers, background checks, onboarding, and new hire documentation.
- Maintain applicant tracking records, hiring reports, and recruiting documentation.
- Support recruiting events and initiatives that strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Ensure employment records and hiring activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- One or more years of experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, administrative support, or business operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel experience preferred.
- Experience with onboarding, employment documentation, or applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- Construction, engineering, or project-based industry experience is beneficial but not required.
