Job Summary

A successful Customer Rebate Manager combines strong financial acumen, analytical capability, and cross-functional partnership to effectively manage customer incentive programs. This role operates as a player-coach-providing leadership and oversight while remaining deeply engaged in the day-to-day execution of rebate processes, including agreement management, tracking and forecasting customer activity, and delivering timely, accurate payouts. The position plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity while fostering strong relationships with Sales, Accounts Receivable, and customers to support commercial growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Directs the daily activities of a finance team, ensuring goals are met within the scope of departmental plans. Provides guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ensures the efficient management of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Works closely with the director to develop and adapt strategies that meet organizational objectives.
Develops and implements processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Oversees the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Conducts financial analysis to assess the company's financial health, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing recommendations for improvements. Collaborates with senior leadership to align financial performance with business goals.
Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls, proactively managing risks to maintain financial integrity and compliance. Reviews financial practices to ensure that high-quality standards are consistently met.
Collaborates with senior leadership to contribute to the development of short-term and long-term financial strategies. Supports decision-making by providing financial insights and recommending improvements to business models.
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, department heads, and business partners. Communicates financial performance and goals to ensure alignment 
with organizational strategy.
Provides coaching to junior staff and develops their financial expertise. Fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring that team members have the tools and support needed to succeed.
Leads the execution of day-to-day financial tasks while supporting higher-level strategic initiatives. Supports management in defining project terms and aligning financial objectives with overall company goals.
Performs other duties as assigned

Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential in contributing to the department's goals

Required Education & Experience

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

Preferred Education & Experience

Specialized Degree: MBA or MPACC
Licenses/Certificates: CGMA, CPA, CMA, or CFA
Years of Experience: 8-11 Years
Preferred experience: Contract acumen and Time management
