Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at- risk youth.

The QM Specialist provides quality management supportive services to colleagues in the department. This is to include day to day department functions, interface with outside agencies to maintain current procedures, involvement in audits performed by regulatory agencies, conduct quality management activities, periodic record reviews of all active and discharged clients throughout the agency, and other duties consistent with department functions. This individual assists with developing department related policies and procedures as well as best practice guidelines, documents discrepancies, trainings and ensures that all audit discrepancies are corrected. This position also includes training staff members in treatment clinical loop, documentation, and other QA/QI procedures that are required by The Company and outside agencies.

Starting Pay Range:

$71,000 - $78,000 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)

 

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am - 1:30 pm

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed or Licensed-Eligible MFT or LCSW or LPCC registered with CA BBS or Clinical Psychologist, waiver-able or registered with the appropriate licensing board to provide psychotherapy.
  • Maintains all required licenses and certifications.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to engage and train groups of people.
  • Two years’ experience in quality assurance/improvement, process management and/or evidence based practices preferred.
  • Previous experience with Joint Commission accreditation, managed care, and/or behavioral health preferred.
