Do you have the ability to work independently and self-manage, as well as stay on task until completed? Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage all of your skills? SemiGen has an opening for a Manufacturing Quality Manager. Working on a small high functioning team, this role will oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and strategic development of SemiGenโ€™s manufacturing and office facilities. This role is responsible for providing a quality management service by ensuring that all internal and external quality standards are met by conducting root cause analysis, giving technical guidance, and completing customer requests; responsibilities: ensure compliance with ISO certification, identify resource needs to develop and grow department, as well as product management and quality testing.

As Manufacturing Quality Manager your duties and responsibilities would be:

  • Responsible for establishing quality acceptance standards for all processes. Manufacturing Quality Manager is accountable for the quality of all products assembled and fabricated at SEMIGEN that are shipped to our customers.
  • Primary champion for effective root cause analysis by supporting teams in documentation of corrective and preventive actions needed to improve performance in safety, quality, delivery and cost. Monitors all corrective and preventive actions and solutions for effectiveness.
  • Primary Customer and Supplier contact for Quality Issue resolution and quality data / audit requests.
  • Responsible for all inspection processes including customer specification management, acceptance standards, methods training, calibration, GR&R, data management and use of statistical capability to establish process control limits
  • Identify and lead in the development of a systematic process of continual improvement in the Quality process. Review products, process, and procedures on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be established and effective.
  • Works with other department management to align departmental activities to drive measurable results.
  • Lead a Material Review Board (MRB) to establish control and disposition of non-conforming material.
  • Responsible for the development and training of the quality team as well as verification of training effectiveness of our hourly associates for quality acceptance guidelines.
  • Responsible for identifying resource needs (staffing, professional development, and/or tools necessary to maintain the growth and development of the quality department.
  • Train, coach, evaluate and mentor the team, which would also include conducting annual performance appraisals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Associates degree or High School diploma
  • Experience with ISO 9001 standards, AS9100, ISO 13485 and IPC-610.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods
  • 5-10 years of experience in Quality System management in manufacturing operation
  • US citizenship/Permanent US residency required
