Job Description WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Our client is looking for a dynamic, experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join their growing team. The position will primarily focus on new product and process development and will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and successful plant launch. The role will utilize core quality skills and tools to manufacture and deliver the highest quality products within our various manufacturing processes.

The expectation will be to work closely with internal and external partners to ensure we exceed customers' expectations. * Must be willing to relocate to Warsaw, IN. Relocation assistance will be provided * WHAT YOU GET TO DO: Develop and implement robust quality assurance and control processes relative to Sub-Assembly and General Assembly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are developed and seamlessly integrated within the manufacturing process. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address technical and process quality issues to ensure the highest quality standards. Perform regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications for the new car launch.

Work closely with suppliers through the supplier quality team to establish and monitor quality expectations for incoming materials and components. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, inspection procedures, and quality manuals accordingly. Risk minimization through use of appropriate risk assessment tools and verification of the robustness of detection and prevention systems for special characteristics.

Support the development and maintenance of FMEA's Support the definition of quality processes and technical standards in cooperation with development, product management, and manufacturing to ensure product quality. Support the planning and evaluation of product test drives within quality and approvals of functions and systems. Provide quality support to the technical and manufacturing teams, as well as drive/support daily operations.

Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: 8+ years related experience with Bachelor's degree, 6 years with Master's degree, 3 years with PhD or equivalent experience Very good technical understanding and sound knowledge of product/vehicle development and production with focus on manufacturing plant launch. A successful history of engaging in the delivery of new program launches on time while achieving metrics.

Very good product and process assessment skills, problem solving and root cause capabilities. Sound knowledge of quality management with in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control disciplines. Strong teamwork and communication skills, a high level of assertiveness as well as entrepreneurial thinking and goal- and result-oriented decision-making skills Proven track record of engaging and participating in high-performing teams.

Proficient in the use of commonly applied quality tools and processes in the automotive industry (e.g. AIAG, IATF 16949, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP etc.). Good working knowledge of core documentation - FMEA's and Control Plans Highest level of integrity and the ability to make data-driven decisions
