Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Manager - ATC
Working Pattern: Onsite 9/80
Working Location: Indianapolis, IN
As the Advanced Turbine Center (ATC) Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will publish the initial Quality Plan for the site, manage internal customer quality relationships, deliver quality measures, drive and implement continuous improvement throughout the facility and be responsible for managing quality-related matters.

What you will be doing:
  • Single point of contact for and managing all quality-related matters in the ATC
  • Active and decisive member of the site leadership team
  • Deploy business plans that deliver the quality strategy and objectives
  • Support the Production System programs applicable to the ATC to deliver results for quality
  • Embed improvement tools and techniques into the day-to-day operation of the plant
  • Establish robust corrective & preventive action plans for Major Quality Investigations
  • Implement and maintain the Quality System for the ATC that is consistent with the Rolls-Royce Management System (RRMS).
  • Deliver the quality training requirements for the area and certify operators and inspectors as appropriate to the Quality Plan
  • Define and manage the audit program within the facility or functions
  • Drive the Supplier Quality Management Team to deliver support for any supplied quality issues

Basic Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Engineering with 7+ years of Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing experience, OR
  • Master's degree in Engineering with 3+ years of Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing experience, OR
  • PhD in Engineering, OR
  • 9+ years of Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Preferred Requirements:
  • Rolls-Royce certified Green or Black belt
  • Track record of Continuous Improvement, especially Lean 6-Sigma experience
  • ISO 9000, AS9100c, 14001/18001 audit experience in both managing and conducting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate to all levels of the organization

A 9/80 compressed workweek means an employee works 80 hours over nine days in a two-week period. Generally, this means working nine hours Monday - Thursday, with alternating eight-hour Fridays and "off" Fridays.
