Position Title: QA/QC Manager - Electrical
Location: Sullivan, Indiana

Position Overview
The QA/QC Manager - Electrical role is a core leadership position within Halo's quality service delivery team. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing electrical quality assurance and quality control activities across construction projects, ensuring consistent compliance with contractual, regulatory, and owner requirements. This position serves as a key link between field execution and program-level quality governance, providing oversight of electrical inspections, documentation, energization readiness, and issue resolution while enforcing established QA/QC processes and driving continuous improvement across the project.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage electrical QC programs, including project-specific QC plans, ITPs, and inspection procedures
  • Establish electrical quality standards, acceptance criteria, and inspection requirements aligned with NEC and project specifications
  • Lead QC personnel including electrical inspectors, leads, and QC foremen
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with drawings, specifications, codes, and safety regulations
  • Oversee electrical inspections, testing, pre-energization checks, and system verification activities
  • Manage non-conformance processes including identification, disposition, corrective action, and closure
  • Coordinate with AHJs, commissioning teams, and project stakeholders on electrical compliance and approvals
  • Track and report quality metrics including electrical deficiencies, inspection completion, and NCR trends
  • Oversee electrical QA/QC documentation systems, workflows, and reporting standards
  • Identify electrical installation risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support commissioning, startup, and energization readiness for electrical systems
  • Manage turnover documentation including test reports, as-builts, and electrical closeout packages
  • Develop QC staffing plans, budgets, and resource forecasts for electrical scope
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on electrical quality performance and execution consistency
  • Maintain strong collaboration with field teams, project management, and subcontractors

Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of electrical inspection or electrical construction quality experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Journeyman Electrician License
  • OSHA 30 certification prior to site arrival
  • NFPA 70E certification required (may be completed upon site arrival)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and NEC compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
  • Experience managing electrical inspections, testing, and commissioning support
  • Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills
  • High attention to detail with a field-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced construction environments
  • Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
  • Experience on large-scale industrial or mission-critical electrical projects
  • Experience with commissioning, energization, and integrated testing processes
  • Familiarity with QC/document control platforms (ACC, Procore, Cx Alloy, etc.)
  • Experience developing electrical ITPs, QC plans, and inspection workflows
  • Experience leading electrical QC teams or field inspection crews
  • Exposure to Lean Construction or continuous improvement practices
