Job description

Make Quality Your Craft in Ligonier, IN

Step into a role where precision, teamwork, and curiosity define your day. As a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Technician in Ligonier, IN, youโ€™ll safeguard product integrity and help our teams deliver reliable resultsโ€”every single shift.

A Day in the Role

You start by sampling the first pieces off the line, verifying dimensions and performance against standards. Mid-morning, youโ€™re running functional tests, logging findings, and flagging any nonconformances. After lunch, you partner with production to investigate a defect trend, participate in root cause analysis, and help draft corrective actions. You wrap up by updating quality metrics and coaching teammates on best practices so tomorrow runs even better than today.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Perform routine product inspections and testing to verify adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Document findings, escalate nonconformities, and communicate clearly with the appropriate teams.
  • Assist in building, refining, and rolling out quality control procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with production to spot trends, reduce variation, and improve process capability.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and key quality metrics.
  • Support training and refreshers on standards, tools, and quality best practices.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in quality or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in quality assurance or quality control preferred.
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
  • Comfort working independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Clear communication and solid interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and related tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
Why This Role

If you enjoy turning observations into improvements and take pride in helping a team hit exacting standards, this role offers real impact and daily varietyโ€”all from our Ligonier, IN facility.
