Inventory Coordinator

Location: Asheville, NC (Hybrid after Training)

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00/hour

Contract: 6-12 Month Contract

Schedule: Hybrid (1-2 Remote Days per Week After Training)

About the Opportunity

Our client, an industry-leading manufacturer launching a brand-new production facility in the Asheville area, is seeking multiple Inventory Coordinators to support daily material flow and inventory operations.

This is an outstanding opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with 1-2 years of manufacturing, logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience looking to grow their career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You'll work alongside purchasing, production, suppliers, and operations teams to ensure materials arrive on time, inventory remains accurate, and production has everything needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the flow of materials between suppliers and manufacturing operations
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure production requirements are met
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules
  • Resolve shipping delays, shortages, and inventory discrepancies
  • Utilize SAP/ERP systems to track material movement and inventory transactions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and material reports
  • Analyze inventory data using Microsoft Excel
  • Communicate daily with suppliers, production, purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on inventory accuracy and material availability
  • Help ensure materials move efficiently throughout the manufacturing process

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, inventory, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems required (SAP preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
