Job description

TITLE: Psychological Operations (PSYOP) Subject Matter Expert (SME)
CLEARANCE: Active DoD Secret Clearance with Top Secret and SCI eligibility.
LOCATION: Mark Center โ€“ Alexandria, VA

Required Skills and Relevant Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience planning and executing PSYOP. (Negotiable)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using communication skills, both written and oral, including preparation of written products for senior leaders.
  • Experience interacting with senior levels of the DoD staff and Interagency (Offices of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and Combatant/Component Commands) (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level).
  • Experience with operational assessments, either within PSYOP or other vocations.ย 
  • Competency in applying social scientific methodology to conduct quantitative data analysis and articulate impacts derived from data insights.
Required Education and Certification:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited university in any relevant field of study, preferably psychology, sociology, marketing, political science, or computer science.
Preferred Education and Certification:
  • Masterโ€™s degree from an accredited university in any relevant field of study, preferably psychology, sociology, marketing, political science, or computer science.
Preferred Skills and Relevant Experience:
  • 5 years of combined OSD, Joint Staff, or 2โ€“4-star level command experience planning and executing PSYOP.
  • Competency in data analysis tools such as โ€œRโ€ or proficiency in Excel data management and analysis.
  • Familiarization with AIโ€‘related concepts, capabilities, and relevant platforms and how AIโ€‘enabled tools can support analysis, assessments, capability development, targeting processes, or emerging technologies.
