Role Overview
As Accordant continues expanding its proprietary software solutions and technology capabilities through our growing Accordant Software division, we're seeking a Project Resource Manager who can bring structure, coordination, and accountability to our growing product and development organization.
The Project Resource Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software initiatives by ensuring teams have clear priorities, appropriate resources, defined timelines, and strong operational alignment. This individual will partner closely with Product Managers, technical leaders, development teams, and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into organized execution plans.
This role will serve as a critical connector across the product organization, creating visibility into workstreams, managing competing priorities, identifying resource constraints, and helping teams deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience operating within a software development environment and understands how to balance business needs, technical considerations, and delivery commitments.
This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to influence accountability across a collaborative, evolving organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and execution of software initiatives across product, development, and business teams.
- Partner with Product Managers and technical leaders to translate product priorities into actionable project plans, timelines, and delivery milestones.
- Manage resource allocation across projects, ensuring teams have clarity on ownership, capacity, dependencies, and priorities.
- Establish project management processes, workflows, and reporting practices that improve visibility and execution across the software organization.
- Facilitate project planning sessions, status meetings, risk reviews, and cross-functional alignment discussions
- Track project progress, identify risks and blockers, and proactively drive resolution to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Create visibility into development capacity, competing priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.
- Partner with technical leaders to understand development efforts, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, roadmaps, timelines, and reporting to support transparency and accountability.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, team collaboration, and delivery processes.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by evaluating processes, gathering feedback, and implementing enhancements.
- Promote accountability and clear communication across product and development teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in project management, technical program management, software delivery, or a related role.
- Experience supporting software development teams or technology organizations required.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes, project planning, and delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and resource constraints and drive solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms preferred.
- Comfortable operating in a growing organization where processes are being established and continuously improved.
- Experience working in ERP, SaaS, software consulting, or technology-enabled services environments is a plus.
