Position: Project Coordinator

Location: NY, NY 10001

Duration: 3+ months

Job Description: 


The Project Coordinator is a detailed-oriented, self-starter who can identify and adapt to the team's needs as needed. You will ably communicate with people at all levels as you work with your team to ensure that projects deliver on time and within budget. 

As a Project Coordinator, you will contribute to the organization in these ways: 

Develop project timelines and track project progress. 

Work with project teams to identify and address critical path or road block issues and develop mitigation plans accordingly. 

Identify key integration points to ensure collaboration across multiple activities or capabilities. 

Update and maintain GSDO project database. 

You will maintain a detailed working knowledge of relevant GSDO policies and procedures and you will collaborate with project team members to plan and execute projects according to those policies and procedures. 

Responsible for communicating project status to the team. Routine communication includes: project meeting minutes, performance-to-project plan, project risks and other project status or details as needed. 

Communicate across all levels as you coordinate scheduling, communications and planning with project team, stakeholders, and external vendors. 

Coordinate and manage workshop production, including venue selection, logistics, planning, catering, back-of-house organization and documentation coordination. 

Coordinate research activities, including logistics, scheduling, and planning and documentation coordination. 


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. 

Minimum 4 years of work experience required. 

Previous experience within consumer products, pharma, or medical devices preferred. 

Project management training and excellent planning and project management skills preferred. 

Project management certification a plus but not required. 

Strong experience using Microsoft Project required. Excellent written and verbal skills. 

Strong analytical aptitude with creative abilities. 

Ability to facilitate the generation of detailed and accurate, risk-adjusted project plans and track against them.

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
