Job Summary

Partner across engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, contracts, and business development to deliver programs on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer and contractual requirements. Drive cross-functional execution, aligns internal teams, and engages leadership as needed to remove obstacles and maintain momentum. Serves as a key interface with internal and external customers on program execution matters and supports bid and proposal activities under the guidance of senior program leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a key interface with customers and internal stakeholders, driving alignment, resolving issues, and managing contract execution with clarity and urgency.
  • Build and manage program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements, providing clear and consistent status to senior leadership.
  • Proactively manage program risk, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues as needed to protect program and business unit objectives.
  • Partner across engineering, material planning, contracts, and operations to ensure disciplined execution, including support for program changes and evolving customer requirements.
  • Analyze and communicate cost and schedule performance, including variance and earned value data, to support informed decision-making and recovery planning.
  • Support proposals, negotiations, and subcontract activities while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company policy, and applicable government regulations.
  • Represent program leadership in customer reviews and internal forums, while promoting collaboration, accountability, and team performance.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to pursuit activities and identifying growth opportunities
Job Responsibilities Part II
  • Drive timely, compliant program closeout, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled and documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Use leading and lagging indicators to predict program performance trends and support proactive decision-making.
  • Develop and implement corrective action strategies to strengthen program execution and results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance planning process and system improvements that increase efficiency and execution discipline.
  • Apply strong knowledge of program planning, cash flow management, and functional discipline principles to support program success.
  • Reinforce and model the organization's mission, values, and culture in daily execution and team engagement.
  • Leverage experience in DoD programs, manufacturing operations, and materials management, including MRP/ERP systems, as required.
  • Maintain working knowledge of FAR regulations, electro-mechanical assembly, bills of material, demand planning, and supply chain processes
Qualifications

   3+ years of relevant experience in program or project management
   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered
   Knowledge of program management tools, processes, and lifecycle execution
   Strong leadership, communication, presentation, customer management, and problem-solving skills
   Experience with proposal support, requirements flow-down, SOW development, subcontract management, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives
   Familiarity with earned value management, cost and schedule reporting, and variance analysis
   Cross-functional exposure to finance, contracts, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, export compliance, and supply chain
   Ability to manage aerospace and defense programs in a prime or subcontractor environment
   Experience in resource planning, scheduling, project reviews, and budget control
   PMP, DAU, or equivalent certification preferred

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
