Job description

Job Title: Manager, Program & Contract (Vendor Governance & IT Outsourcing)
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Manager of Program & Contract to join our enterprise governance team. In this role, you will be responsible for vendor oversight, IT outsourcing contract administration, and service delivery management across key third-party partnerships (such as help desk and data center operations).
This is a critical governance and operational health role requiring a strong blend of program management, contract policy counsel, and vendor relationship management. You will partner closely with Procurement and Legal teams to establish standard terms and conditions, lead NDA negotiations, analyze vendor performance metrics, and ensure strict contractual compliance. If you excel at solving atypical challenges, driving operational health reporting, and aligning third-party delivery with enterprise strategy, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Governance & Service Delivery
• Performance Oversight: Monitor, analyze, and report on third-party MSP and vendor performance, ensuring service delivery aligns with business objectives and contractual SLAs.
• Relationship Management: Maintain active day-to-day coordination between internal business units and external vendors, facilitating the rapid resolution of operational and service issues.
• Operational Health Reporting: Develop and present operational health scorecards, service performance metrics, and risk assessments to IT and business leadership.
Contract Administration & Policy Counsel
• Outsourcing Administration: Administer contracts for outsourced enterprise services in close partnership with Procurement and Legal teams.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement IT outsourcing policies, operational standards, and governance procedures aligned with corporate strategy.
• Negotiation & T&Cs: Coordinate and lead negotiations for non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and help establish standard company terms and conditions for product and material sales/purchases.
Risk, Compliance & Project Support
• Risk Management: Identify operational and compliance risks associated with outsourced services and establish appropriate internal controls.
• Project Execution: Support short- to mid-term project execution-managing project objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets with full accountability for outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
• Experience Baseline: 1 to 3+ years of professional experience in program management, contract administration, or vendor governance.
• Technical Mastery:
oBroad knowledge of project, program, or contract management best practices.
oFamiliarity with corporate accounting, budgeting, and financial policies.
oWorking knowledge of enterprise system landscapes and IT operations (experience with utility-sector or specialized ERP platforms is a strong plus).
• Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities; superior written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated capacity for independent judgment and strategic advisory.
Preferred Attributes
• Basic systems analysis experience or exposure to specialized enterprise billing/operations platforms (e.g., SAP IS-U or equivalent industry solutions).
• Demonstrated history of successfully negotiating vendor contracts and driving service delivery improvements.
