Position: Workday Finance Program Manager
Contract
Location: Tampa, FL
The Workday Finance Program Manager will own end-to-end delivery of Workday Finance programs including planning, execution, governance, integrations, and post go-live stabilization. The role involves managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, vendors, budgets, risks, and timelines to ensure successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead the complete lifecycle of Workday Finance programs: Assessment Design Build Test Deploy Post Go-Live Support
  • Manage Workday Financial Management modules including: General Ledger (GL), Procurement, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Assets, Expenses, and Revenue
  • Drive successful Workday implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and transformation initiatives
  • Define program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives
Risk, Quality & Change Management
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
  • Ensure quality delivery through SIT, UAT, and parallel finance testing cycles
  • Support change management, business readiness, training, and user adoption activities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership teams
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in Workday Financial Management
  • Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise programs and finance transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of Customer Central for Finance Data Conversion
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced and dynamic environments Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
